12 Cobalt Blue Fragonard Pitcher / Pot w Lid Gold Detail Decoration Love Story

  

This is a wonderful 12 1/4 tall Cobalt Blue Fragonard Pitcher / Pot with Lid, it is very large, if you need to know how many ounces it holds just ask, looks to be made for water or cold beverages, not a teapot, very decorative. If you look at pictures 2,4,5, &6 you will see some wear in areas, tough to detect unless your looking for it.

The gold detail is very ornate, and though its tough to tell in pictures it is cobalt blue with wonderful gold detail and of course the fragonard courting scene on front and back, each scene is signed fragonard as shown. Note the scenes are transfer not hand painted. The pot has wonderful form, feel free to ask any questions, this listing is for the pitcher shown in photos. No chips or cracks, the inside of the pitcher is also glazed, shown in picture 9.
