A really nice demitasse saucer made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece is hand painted with a panel of a floral arrangement on white ground in the center surrounded by some fancy gold trim with the rest of the piece having a deep cobalt blue ground color and some more fancy gold trim to the rim and a gold line to the outside of the foot ring underneath. That blue and gold combination has to be among the very best in the porcelain world!
The saucer is in perfect condition which is always nice and is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed number and a black painter's mark as shown. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall with a diameter of 4.375 inches. German Germany Blumen Kobalt Blau Unterteller Untertasse.
