A simple saucer for a demitasse / mocha or espresso coffee cup made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period around the late 1920s. Simple in design with the entire piece having a cobalt blue ground color to it with just a simple gold line to the edge but it would work for any floral or scenic demitasse with a cobalt blue ground. So if you are missing a saucer here is your chance : The cobalt blue and gold combo always looks stunning! The saucer is in great condition with just some minor use marks.
The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot between the tops, a painter's number and the usual impressed numbers as shown.
