Presented in cobalt blue and white porcelain with encrusted gilt trim/borders. Made in France in the period between the wars. Saucer backs and cup undersides shows both the'MR' mark, flanking back to back L's (for Limoges) used from 1891 -- 1896. There is also the blue circular mark'M. The latter mark was used as the decorator mark (applied over the glaze).
Cups = 1.75"h x 2.5"w (including handle). 11 of the 12 pieces in this set are in excellent antique condition - free from cracks, chips and crazing - nothing distracting. 1 saucer has a small repair to the underside that is detailed in photos (see final photo). This repair is not noticeable when displayed. Otherwise expect only minor surface wear consistent with age, display and storage.
