Coalport Gold Gilt Scrollwork Leaves & Cobalt Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1800-1815

  

Decorated with gold gilt scrollwork designs over a cobalt band, and gold scrolls and leaves below. Has some wear to the gilding, a crack through the bottom of the handle, and a small in manufacture firing separation to the edge of the saucer, but otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall.

The saucer measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
