The bottom of the cup and center of hte saucer are decorated with purple, yellow, and blue floral designs over a purple, yellow, and peach background. With gold gilding along the edge, below the cobalt band, and to the handle of the cup. Marked on the bottom H & C with two lines below.
This mark was used by Haviland in Limoges France in 1877. Also marked Haviland & Co Limoges in a double red circle. This is an overglaze decorator's mark used by Haviland between 1879 and 1889. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall.The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
