Minton G9986 Cobalt & Raised Gold Floral Demitasse Cup & Saucer C. Decorated in the G9986 pattern with a cobalt blue border with raised and beaded Neoclassical floral scrollwork overlay.

Gold encrusted band along the edge. Marked on the bottom with with puce crown above Mintons England.

Also has the pattern number in red. Has an impressed date code with a circle, but I cannot make out the number inside the circle.

The circle date codes were used between 1901 and 1908. Has crazing typical of bone china, staining and, some wear to the gilding. The cup has a small hairline extending off the lip.

The saucer has a tight crack through the center and a few small hairlines to the back around the foot rim. The cup measures approximately 2 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
