Pirkenhammer antique cobalt blue with heavy gold decor soup tureen & underplate

  

Offered up is a soup tureen in cobalt blue with heavy gold decor by Pirkenhammer china. This tureen measures 12" in height to the top of the finial on the lid, 10" across the main bowl and 13 from handle to handle. The underplate measures 10 3/8 across. The tureen and underplate are marked with a green crossed hammer mark. There is moderate wear to the handles and finial on the lid simply due to the age of the piece.
