Rare Nippon Moon Flask Vase HP Floral Design Cobalt Blue Gold Accents Nice

  
This beauty stands at 8 3/4 inches tall by a wide point of almost 6 inches. It is narrowly made as all moon flasks were and that measures at 1 1/2 inches for the round section, and a bit larger at the pedestal base. The designs on both sides are a bit different but each accents one another. The main middle has hand painted flowers in a pink and mauve color with shades of green leaves and a white background color. An elaborate design around this with raised gold moriage upon a pale green, and both blue and a dark reddish color shaped in flower forms with both raised gold moriage and white moriage as well. The dark blue cobalt areas have hand painted gold scroll upon them. The handles have an ornate design on them that compliments the rectangular pedestal base. This piece is so ornately decorated please see the picture closeups for a more exact description. I cannot detect any chips, cracks or repairs to this piece. The gold has some ever so slight wear to the high traffic areas such as the rim. Please examine the pictures carefully using the zoom option to see how lovely this piece is.
