S&J Rathbone Pattern 812 Floral Cobalt Beige & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer C. 1815-25 A

Pretty antique British porcelain London form / London shape tea cup and saucer. Decorated in Pattern 812 with hand painted flowers in pink, white, red, and purple.

With a cobalt, beige and gold floral scrollwork border. The blank is made by S&J Rathbone, but the pattern is not a Rathbone pattern and would have been decorated elsewhere, possibly in London. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
