For sale is a set of 8 antique salad or dessert plates made in France by Sarreguemines. Each plate is a deep cobalt blue and is decorated with an intricate pattern in gold accented with a silvery metal, possibly platinum. Each plate measures about 8 in diameter.

These plates probably date from the mid-1800's. Most plates are stamped very lightly "Sarreguemines" on the back, along with the number 1660 written in gold. Condition is fine estate condition - please see condition description and photos for condition details.
