Spode Cobalt & Gold Star & Laurel Leaf Garlands Tea Cup & Saucer C. Nice early 19th century antique fluted porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with a gold and cobalt star in the center. With a border of cobalt and cobalt scrollwork and laurel leaf garlands. Marked on the bottom Spode. Has some wear to the gilding, crazing typical of bone china, some staining of the type that may soak out and a star/spider hairline on the bottom of the saucer. The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide.
