RARE 4 piece set of Antique Decorative Hand Painted Plates from Theodore Haviland, Limoges, France. The Plates feature deep cobalt blue rims with heavy and extremely detailed gold gilt. Scallopped edging adds classic refinement to these rare artist Signed plates. Each plate is Signed L. Martin who painted plates for Haviland. The mark features TH Haviland over 3 towers in Green and dates back to about 1892. 1 plate has a small chip on the rim.

1 plate has minor wear to the gold gilt. 1 plate has a split or a blister in the glaze on the underside of plate on bottom. Each of these blemishes are shown in photos. Very nice condition considering the age.
