Vase Japanese Woman Men Cobalt Blue and Black Gold Accents Large Vintage

  

Vintage large vase, cobalt blue along top and bottom, as well as along the sides betweeen the two hand painted scenes, with gold accents. Black background along top and bottom of the scenes with raised yellow accents. The woman is wearing a reddish brown, blue and red rust kimono with raised yellow, white and green color, and gold accents.

The man next to her is wearing a reddish brown, green and yellow kimono with raised yellow and gold accents. The man on the other side of vase is wearing a green, reddish brown, blue and yellow kimono with raised yellow and white designs, gold accents. A nice reddish brown and yellow mountainside, green trees, blue water in the distance with raised yellow color accents.

The vase is approx 12" in height, approx 4-1/2" across top rim, approx 3-1/2" opening, approx 11-1/2" depth, approx 4-3/4" across bottom rim, approx 8-1/2" wide at widest point. There are some signs of age/use/wear.

There is crazing in the porcelain. Some color/enamel fade/loss in areas. A few scratches/scuffs in the color. A few normal vintage porcelain marks. A few air bubble marks.

A few brown age spots. Some wear on the bottom rim.

Some discoloration on the bottom rim. The inside of vase is quite clean, with some paint dripping from the cobalt blue color as well as some discoloration on the bottom.
